French cosmetics behemoth L'Oreal snapped up beauty retailer The Body Shop, known for its ethically-sourced cosmetics, for $1.4B good ones on Friday.L'Oreal said it will keep Body Shop's existing management team and maintain the company as a standalone entity selling only Body Shop-branded products in order to maintain its naturally-oriented image.
