The Apprentice is Back

But with a twist. The new season of The Apprentice pits self-fashioned entrepreneurs against academically-oriented success stories to figure out which of the 2 matters most--street smarts or book wits. We all now that it takes a bit of each to thrive in the modern world, but I'm enjoying the show anyways. Just as a recap, Todd was fired at the end of Thursday's episode for poor managerial skils--not only did he scapegoat the eccentric Dan, he failed to resusciate business when mass congestion overtook their Burger King experiment. Perosnally, I would've distracted the crowd until the problem could've been relieved by the rest of the team: in business, you cannot survive without a contingency plan. Instead, Todd stood there like a deer in headlights. Good riddance, pal.
