Down But Not Out: Hurricane Hits South Florida

Our South Florida offices got pounded by Hurricane Katrina over the weekend, rendering us unable to bring you, our readers, breaking news and market insights.

We apologize.

Here are the details: Katrina raged through Miami beginning Thursday night.

An estimated 650,000 people were left without power, including yours truly.

7 have been reported dead as a result of the category 2 hurricane.

We were down for 2 days, but clearly not out.
